How does the smart fridge work?

Tap your contactless card or phone to unlock the fridge, take what you want, and close the door. Everything else is handled automatically.

Do I need to download an app or create an account?

No. There is no app and no sign up required.

What payment methods are accepted?

Contactless debit and credit cards (Visa & Mastercard), as well as mobile wallets, are supported.

Can I take more than one item at a time?

Yes. You can take as many items as you like in a single visit.

What kind of food is available?

A rotating menu of chef prepared meals including salads, bowls, sandwiches, wraps, freshly prepared meals, alongside snacks, and drinks. Menus are updated regularly, with fresh deliveries made daily.

Are there options for different dietary requirements?

Where is the food prepared and how is food safety managed?

Meals are prepared by chefs each morning in our 5 star rated production kitchen and delivered fresh to your workplace. All food is handled under strict food safety and HACCP processes, with full ingredient and allergen traceability.

Do your meals contain additives?

We do not use artificial additives in our kitchen. Some ingredients, such as certain breads and sauces, may already contain additives or preservatives. Where this is the case, we aim to minimise their use and work closely with our suppliers to reduce this over time. Full ingredient and allergen information is always clearly displayed on each item.

What happens to unsold food?

Smart restocking helps reduce waste by shifting stock to where demand is higher. Where food cannot be sold, surplus meals are redistributed to local food shelters wherever possible.

What is required from us to get started?

Very little. We typically work best with workplaces of around 100 people or more. The fridge requires less than 1m² of space and a standard plug socket. We handle installation and everything else.

Is the service fully managed?

Yes. We take care of installation, food preparation, deliveries, restocking, maintenance, and support.

Can employers subsidise meals?

Yes. Employers can choose to offer a fixed value subsidy or a percentage discount on meals as part of their workplace benefits.
